About Happy Munchkins Large Family Daycare

Hi. My name is Alison Harper and I am the owner of Happy Munchkins and mom to a wonderful 9 year old daughter, Ashlyn. I have been licensed to provide family childcare in my home since June 2004 and invite you to review my file with The Office of Child Care Licensing. In June 2006, I recieved my Level 2 license and in September 2007 I upgraded again to a Large Family Daycare. This means I will now be treated as a "mini daycare center" in the eyes of the state. Basically this means I am not only monitered by the Department of Child care Licensing and Delaware Parents Association (my food program sponsors), but also Public Health, The Department of Land Use and the Fire Marshal. Even though Happy Munchkins has grown tremondously in the last few years, we still strive to provide the home like enviornment you have come to expect. In addition to myself, Miss Erin, my assistant, will help to care for your children. All employees will have First Aid, and CPR, and be required to pass a FBI background check.
